Post-Wedding BBQ!

We all know that while weddings are full of excitement, the day passes so quickly. We know many of you are travelling from out of town and overseas, so a relaxed post-wedding afternoon will be a nice opportunity for all to have a proper catch-up...and perhaps indulge in a bit of table quiz?!

Here is the info:
  • Location: Kiely's of Mount Merrion Pub (google map here)
        • 69 Deerpark Rd, Dublin
  • Date: Friday, 15th August 2014
  • Time: 4pm
  • Cuisine:  Good ol' pub grub!  wedges, chips, burgers, sausages and kebabs
"Hey Dave and Molly, Why Kiely's?"
Kiely's hold special memories for us - we went here on our second date!  After a nice sunny afternoon in nearby Deer Park turned rather quickly into a rainy one, we sought shelter under a tree waiting for the rain to ease off.  It didn't!  So we legged it through pouring rain and sought proper shelter at Kiely's pub.

Kiely's has also been a favourite for all of the Mac Canns for many years!  Dave describes it as a nice, friendly hidden gem of a local pub in south dublin, with excellent pints and good food.
Where is Kiely's?
Kiely's is in the Mount Merrion area of Dublin, 4.5 miles south of Dublin City Centre. Many websites describe Kiely's as "One of Dublin's best pubs - no fuss or frills, just a great atmosphere."  We agree!

TIP: Arrive early and take a stroll through Deer Park. On a clear day, you will be treated with lovely views of Dublin Bay!  From parts of the park you can see the Dublin Mountains, Howth Head, the sea and Dublin city centre.
